<p>Reality TV star <a title="Kourtney Kardashian wikipedia" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kourtney_Kardashian" target="_blank">Kourtney Kardashian</a> is making headlines again.  This time it is not for anything she did in the celebrity world, but rather for her stunning weight loss.  Since giving birth six months ago, Kourtney has dropped 44 pounds.  Through a combination of common sense, daily workout and a sensible diet, Kourtney Kardashian was able to reach her fitness goals and drop from 150 pounds to 106 pounds.</p>
<p><strong>How She Did It</strong></p>
<p><strong>Daily exercise is the biggest reason why Kourtney has been able to lose so much weight over the past six months. </strong> Her day starts with a 7 AM wakeup call from her personal trainer where she gets in a full <a href="http://www.dietdiet.com/category/workout-routines/">workout</a>.  Kourtney decided to do this so early in the morning so she can avoid any &#8220;mom guilt&#8221; associated with doing something for herself rather than spending time with her kids.  Not having the distraction of her children around helps her focus on her weight loss goals and really attack her morning workout.</p>
<p><strong>On the days when she is not working out with her personal trainer, Kourtney runs, does calisthenics as well as completes Tracy Anderson&#8217;s 90-minute dance-cardio workouts.</strong>  Mixing in the cardio workouts on the days she is not weight training allows Kourtney to see much quicker results as it is important to mix in cardio workouts when trying lose weight.</p>
<p>While this is the second time Kardashian has dropped a considerable amount of weight after giving birth, Kourtney used more common sense this time around and did not starve herself or push herself too hard to lose the weight.  By taking a more conservative approach to her weight loss this time, Kourtney was able to drop the 44 pounds and feel good about herself while doing it.</p>
<p>Three other things Kourtney does are (1) she does not eat before bed; (2) she drinks water when she is hungry; and (3) she makes sure her breakfasts are extremely healthy (even if that means eating less for breakfast).</p>
<p><strong>Is the Kourtney Kardashian Diet Right For You?</strong></p>
<p>If you are able to take a balanced approach to obtaining your weight loss goals and can keep your eye on the big picture, the Kourtney Kardashian weight loss plan could be right for you.  The first step you would need to take is to set aside time each and every morning, or some time when you have no other distractions, to get in a workout.  While you do not necessarily need a personal trainer, you need to mix weight training and cardio in order to achieve your weight loss goals.  As long as you can find the time to get in a workout every day that consists of these items, you should start to see the extra pounds melt off your body.</p>
<p>In addition to a daily workout, you will need to eat a sensible diet.  Kourtney tries to stick to an organic diet, but you can get away with eating low fat, low carb foods.  By steering clear of food that is high in calories and fat content, you will burn many more calories than you consume on a daily basis, which is the secret to weight loss success.</p>
<p>With a focus on exercising regularly and eating sensibly while not trying to lose weight too quickly, you should be able to lose weight just like Kourtney Kardashian.</p>

<p><b>3. Create Weight Loss Goals</b></p>

<p>Losing weight can be a difficult goal to accomplish.  However, with a weight loss strategy in place before you begin dieting and exercising, you will increase your chances of losing weight.  Finding the time to exercise every single day, keeping notes of the food you eat, setting realistic goals, allowing for cheat days and finding new, exciting ways to exercise are just some tips you can use this year to help you shed those unwanted pounds.</p>

<p><strong>What is the Green Coffee Bean Diet?</strong></p>
<p>The Green Coffee Bean Diet is a diet program designed around the <a href="http://www.dietdiet.com">weight loss</a> effects of the green coffee bean.  Rather than sticking to low carb foods and maintaining a healthy daily diet, the Green Coffee Bean Diet is comprised of taking a daily green coffee bean extract to help promote weight loss.  Green coffee beans contain chlorogenic acid, which is the key ingredient that helps people lose weight.</p>
<p>Chlorogenic acid prompts the liver to burn stored fat first, which helps people lose weight in trouble areas.  While your body is working on destroying the fat that has already been built up in your body, the chlorogenic acid from the green coffee beans will also slow the processing of sugar into glucose, resulting in less glucose in your blood stream.  This will also help your body reduce new fat at a lower rate, allowing you to burn off calories caused by excess glucose in your blood more easily.</p>
<p><strong>Does the Green Coffee Bean Diet Really Work?</strong></p>
<p>While there has been limited research conducted on this new diet fad, initial indications are that green coffee bean extract does in fact help people lose weight.  In a controlled test conducted by University of Scranton Ph. D. Joe Vinson, 16 participants in a 22-week study lost an average of 17 pounds while taking a green coffee bean extract.  During the study, the participants consumed an average of 2,400 calories per day and were still able to lose a significant amount of weight.</p>
<p>While this is just one test, it does appear that taking a green coffee bean extract on a regular basis does provide some type of weight loss benefit.</p>
<p><strong>Is this Diet Right for You?</strong></p>
<p>Before you jump right in and start taking green coffee bean extract, you need to carefully consider all of the consequences.  Since there has not been a lot of research on the subject, it is not known if taking excessive amounts of green coffee bean extract will have a negative effect on your body in the long run.  Discussing the possibility of going on the Green Coffee Bean Diet with your doctor is recommended before you start this weight loss program to ensure your body is healthy enough to handle all of the extra caffeine you will be putting into your body.</p>
<p>While the jury may still be out on the overall effectiveness of the Green Coffee Bean Diet, it does appear that this new diet craze does have some weight loss benefits.  Consulting your doctor, maintaining a healthy diet and getting regular exercise in conjunction with consuming a green coffee bean supplement could help you reach your weight loss goals.</p>

Other rumored Hollywood celebrities on the Baby Food Diet are Lady Gaga, Marcia Cross and Reese Witherspoon, however none of them have publicly admitted to the diet. Although it&#8217;s safe to say not many celebrities would make such an admission.</p>
<p>The main premise of this diet is to replace high calorie foods with small portion jars of baby food throughout the day.  While you are still getting all of the nutrients you need to stay healthy, you are able to eliminate a lot of unnecessary calories while on this diet.</p>
<p><strong>How does it Work?</strong></p>
<p>There are several different variations of the Baby Food Diet you can use to help you lose weight.</p>
<p><strong>One plan</strong> calls for eating 14 jars of baby food throughout the day while mixing in a healthy, regular dinner while <strong>another variation</strong> calls for eating three low calorie, well-balanced meals while substituting high calorie snacks with baby food.</p>
<p>Whichever variation you decide is right for you, it is important that you remove any high calorie foods from your diet and replace them with baby food.  This will allow you to lose weight will still maintaining a healthy diet and getting all of the vitamins and nutrients your body needs.</p>
<p><strong>Is the Baby Food Diet Right For You?</strong></p>
<p>Before you decide to start the Baby Food Diet, you need to be honest with yourself and decide whether or not you have the discipline required to stick with this diet.  While many nutrition experts feel this diet will work in theory, most do not think the average adult will be able to stick to a diet consisting of mainly baby food for more than a few days.</p>
<p>One of the reasons why these experts do not feel the Baby Food Diet will be a diet plan that sticks around for a long time is the fact that adults receive a lot of psychological benefits when they chew their food.  These benefits include feelings of fullness and satiety.  When you eat only pureed baby food, you will not get these feelings and may actually feel hungrier than when you started eating, which could lead to overeating the baby food and reducing your chances of losing weight.</p>

<p>Recently former pop-star Jessica Simpson revealed her dramatic post-pregnancy weight loss. To be exact, she lost about 60 pounds in five months.</p>
<p>That’s no easy feat for anyone to accomplish, and especially at age 32. Through a consistent regimen of better eating habits, fitness training, a solid support system, and <strong>one secret tip</strong>, Jessica has been shedding weight steadily over the last few months.</p>
<p><strong>How Did Jessica Do It?</strong></p>
<p>Four times per week, Jessica works out with celebrity fitness trainer <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harley_Pasternak" target="_blank">Harley Pasternak</a>. Each session lasts about 45 minutes and includes five phases: cardio warm-up, upper body <a title="How To Build Muscle" href="http://www.dietdiet.com/how-to-build-muscle/">strength training</a>, lower body strength training, core training, and cardio cool down. Harley helps her “get her soldier on” – regularly working her arms, legs, abs, butt and thighs.</p>
<p>Additionally, Mrs. Simpson recently signed a big contract with <a title="Weight Watchers Diet" href="http://www.dietdiet.com/weight-watchers-diet/">Weight Watchers</a> to be their newest spokesperson. Aside from the vested business interest, Weight Watchers PointsPlus program has significantly affected Jessica&#8217;s notorious eating habits for the better. For example, her favorite pregnancy craving of mac and cheese is no longer an option, and in place of that could be a flatbread sandwich with egg whites, peppers and fat-free cheddar. Then after a late morning walk, the new mom might snack on fruit. Little changes like these go a long way.</p>
<p>The singer has revealed that lunch now is her biggest meal in order to keep her full through the day. Another of her new favorite plates is spinach salad with 4 ounces of chicken satay and pear. A smoothie is often on tap for the afternoon snack. And for dinner? Jessica seeks out lighter evening meals nowadays, such as 4 ounces of halibut or tilapia (not Chicken of the Sea Tuna) paired with vegetables and the occasional Skinny Cow chocolate truffle bar.</p>
<p>When in a community like Weight Watchers or any other grouping of people all geared towards the same goal (of weight loss in this example), the camaraderie and group dynamic really helps. It makes the feat more enjoyable and attainable when you take into account you&#8217;re not alone in the process and all are facing similar struggles.</p>
<p><strong>Jessica Simpson&#8217;s Secret Weight Loss Tip</strong></p>
<p>And lastly, Jessica recently divulged on the &#8220;Katie&#8221; TV show a secret that has really helped her during this course: standing in front of the mirror naked and forcing herself to look at what stands in front of her. This way, there are no more excuses and no more hiding. It’s just you and the you that everyone else sees. Doesn’t get any realer than that.</p>
<p>Ms. Simpson is still ten pounds shy of pre-baby weight and has stated she doesn&#8217;t have a specific weight goal in mind, but considering her current focus and determination, we wouldn&#8217;t be surprised if she continues the slimming trend.</p>
